NAVY PREPARED FOR LEBANON, IRAN FLOTILLAS: The Israel Navy is preparing to deal with ships from Iran and Lebanon that are expected to attempt this week to land in Gaza. Israeli security officials said the ships were being organized by Hizbullah terrorists, under the guise of a “humanitarian flotilla.”  Navy officials said they had learned much about how to deal with the threat in the course of handling the previous flotilla, and were prepared to head off the ships and prevent their entry into Gaza. BARAK WARNS LEBANON OVER PLANNED GAZA FLOTILLA:  If Lebanon allows citizens to set sail for Gaza from its ports, it will bear responsibility for the consequences, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Thursday. A group of Lebanese are organizing a flotilla that plans to defy Israel's naval blockade of Hamas-run Gaza.  "I say clearly to the government of Lebanon: You are responsible for the boats leaving your ports, which have the clear and stated intention of trying to break the naval blockade on Gaza,” he warned. The Lebanese government must prevent the loading of weapons, ammunition, or similar things onto the boats, he added. Such cargo “could lead to a violent and dangerous confrontation if the ship refuses to come to Ashdod,” he explained. In May, Turkey sent a flotilla of boats to Gaza. When the boats refused to turn aside, they were boarded by IDF commandos. The commandos boarded with paint guns but were attacked violently with knives, axes and blunt weapons by armed Turkish activists on one of the boats who attempted to throw one of them overboard, causing the commandos to open fire with the pistols they had brought, killing nine. HIZBULLAH-BACKED FLOTILLA TO GAZA TO BE CREWED BY WOMEN: A new PR stunt, featuring a ship heading for Gaza and carrying Muslim and Christian women headed by a Hizbullah backer, is aimed at embarrassing Israel into using its force against what will be portrayed as defenseless women. The Lebanese ship has been christened the “Mariam.” The ship's leader, Samar Alhaj, said that using women in such a way is "the new secret weapon" against what she described as "the thieving enemy."  The Lebanese ship is being sponsored by Hizbullah. The group's leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, personally tasked Alhaj with leading the mission.  Alhaj is the well-known wife of a Lebanese security officer believed to have participated in the assassination of former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri, who was an opponent of Hizbullah and the group's Syrian allies. NEW IHH INCITEMENT VIDEO: ‘WE WILL THROW THEM INTO THE SEA’: The Israeli Foreign Ministry exposed another video from the Mavi Mamara flotilla ship Friday, this time showing IHH leader Bulent Yildirim inciting followers, “If you [Israel] send the commandos, we will throw you down from here and you will be humiliated in front of the whole world. If they board our ship, we will throw them into the sea!” The film adds more proof to incriminating evidence that the hard core of 40 terror activists on the top deck of the ship conspired and incited to assault and kidnap Navy commandos.  The terror activists, many of whom were trained in hand-to-hand combat, beat Israeli naval officers with metal rods, knifed them and took several hostages until the commanding officer gave the order to open fire to save the lives of their comrades. TERRORISTS STATES IRAN AND TURKEY JOIN FORCES TO ‘FIGHT TERROR’:  In a report that can only be called laughable, Iran and Turkey, which boast support of the Hamas terrorist organization, now are cooperating “closely in fighting terrorism,” according to Iran’s Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar.  The Iranian minister also told Turkish Ambassador to Iran Umit Yardim that the “two nations enjoy great potential to further boost already flourishing ties in all areas.” Yardim added that Iran now is a choice destination for Turkish tourists. The Turkish envoy returned the compliments and called for further promotion of ties between the two nations, both of which support Hamas, outlawed by the US as a terrorist group.  Turkey’s support for Iran’s nuclear development program was expressed two weeks ago. Iran has complimented Turkey for sponsoring the flotilla, which included the Mavi Mamara ship, on which 50 Turkish terror activists attacked Israeli Navy commandos who eventually overpowered the vessel to prevent it from reaching the coast of Hamas-controlled Gaza.  (INN) “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Is 40:29

PERES CALLS ON JEWS TO PRAY FOR ISRAEL AND COME HOME: President Shimon Peres, citing the terrorist-sponsored international attempt to make Israel illegitimate, told the Jewish Agency on Sunday morning, “We are a people with faith. It is time to pray.” He also called on Jews all over the world to move to Israel. President Peres continued, “Israel, politically, was created before Poland and Germany. And religiously was born 1,500 years before Christianity and 2,800 years before Islam. “Now there is an attempt to de-legitimize Israel.  De-legitimizing Israel means to legitimize, directly or indirectly, the lawless organizations like Al-Qaeda, Hamas and Hizbullah and their overt and covert supporters, dictatorial regimes who kill and arrest their own people without count, without human respect.” (Arutz-7) “I will come to give rest to Israel." Jer 31:2

ISRAEL CONTINUES TO FLOOD GAZA WITH HUMANITARIAN AID:  While the Palestinian Authority continues its attempts to convince the world of a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, last week alone the region received more than 12,000 tons of humanitarian aid. That didn't include the more than one million liters of fuel pumped into the region in the same period. At the Kerem Shalom Crossing, 485 trucks bearing 8,853 tons of foodstuffs were delivered. Among the items on the list were legumes, fruits and vegetables, rice, cooking oil, meat, chicken and fish products, flour, dairy products, spices, sugar and mixed additional food products. In addition, other merchandise included hygiene products, medicine and medical equipment, inputs to agriculture, cement, clothing and footwear, aggregates and various other essential humanitarian products.
